Shift Happens

On the occasion of the International Managers’ Meeting of Fratelli Cosulich Group, centered around the theme “Shit to Shift,” we turned three major mistakes in history into three small lessons in leadership. The result was a series of three light, short videos inspired by the slightly vintage tone of the old “how it’s made” shows we used to watch on TV. They tell the story of Post-it Notes born from the wrong glue, the discovery of penicillin from a forgotten mold in a lab, and the study of ocean currents made possible by a container full of rubber ducks lost at sea. 

“Shift Happens” is a three-part story with a single message: sometimes it’s not the mistake that makes the difference. It’s what we choose to do with it.
